Charlynn Diapo serves as Senior Vice President, Accounting and Finance of American Healthcare REIT, where she oversees the company’s corporate accounting operations and consolidated financial reporting. She has held the role since joining the AHR platform in 2013, including service in a similar capacity for a platform-sponsored healthcare REIT through its approximately $4 billion merger with NorthStar Realty Finance Corp. in 2014.

Previously, Diapo served as Vice President and Controller of the North American portfolio of DEXUS Property Group, an Australian REIT, where she led the internalization of the U.S. finance and accounting function for a $1.3 billion industrial portfolio. Earlier, she held financial accounting roles with Grubb & Ellis Company and City National Bank.

Diapo began her career in 2002 as an auditor with Deloitte & Touche, focused on financial services clients, and has more than two decades of accounting and financial reporting experience. She received a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and applied science, with a minor in accounting, from the University of California, Los Angeles and is a licensed certified public accountant in California.
